WELCOME TO FETCHING FINERY
Our story started at eleven years old, with the adoption of my first dog, Gunner, a 1 year old Siberian Husky. Knowing nothing of dog care or training, we started classes with our local 4-H program. We had the opportunity to learn many different dog sports with the help of multiple amazing and devoted dog trainers. While we loved all of the exciting dog sports we were able to try, canine freestyle and drill team became our favorite. With our 4-H Drill Team, we traveled and preformed at many events around Missouri like Purina Farms, county and state fairs, and even a movie premier!
During our training journey, with every new skill, came new dog gear I dreamed of but couldn't always afford.
I started to test all kinds of materials to see what I liked to work with and what I could make with them. Soon, I discovered the vast color selection of paracord and wanted to try my hand at crafting a few leashes for Gunner. A few new stylish leashes for him soon turned into new collars and leashes every month. After they passed the test with a energetic Siberian Husky, I started to make leashes and collars for friends and other dog trainers.
Tying knots with paracord turned into working with climbing rope, and then with the discovery of water and stink-proof Biothane, I was hooked. While there may be a few items available with paracord and rope, the majority of products feature Biothane. It is the primary material that I use with my pets everyday at home. I carry the love and passion for my own pets into every item I make here at Fetching Finery, as a commitment to quality, durability, and a little extra flair.

Meet the favorites behind Fetching Finery—my beloved pets, who have inspired and tested my creations every step of the way. Gunner, my Siberian Husky, was my first dog and the reason this journey began. He was more than just a companion; he was my adventure partner, training buddy, and the very first model for my handmade pet gear. Sanji, my Border Collie, now carries on that role, always eager to test new designs for a ball throw with his boundless energy and enthusiasm. And then there’s Toshi, my Siamese/Tabby mix, who brings a touch of feline flair to the team, and endless curiosity. Together, my team shaped Fetching Finery into what it is today—a brand built on real-world testing, adventure, and a passion for pets.
